This is a great help for any skin type, adding the lemon for oilier skin. The herbs of green tea and chamomile serve to soothe the skin and the rose hydrosol does the same while also adding a delicate fragrance. Aloe and apple cider vinegar balance to serve smoothing and astringent purposes.

    Blending Procedure:

    1. Heat distilled water until boiling. Remove from heat and add green tea and chamomile. Steep for 15 minutes, then strain out plant material using a fine sieve or muslin bag.

    2. Add rose hydrosol, aloe vera and vinegar (and lemon juice, if using) and stir well. Pour into a clean bottle and label. Shake well to ensure the mix.

    3. To use, use a soft cotton pad to apply to clean skin. You can also store it in a spritzer bottle and use it to get a refreshing spray anytime -- day or night!

    4. Store in refrigerator for best results and use within 2 weeks. Add a teaspoon of alcohol to keep for up to 3 months unrefrigerated.
